Gábor Urbányi

I have been working as an optician since August 1993, starting at Ofotért where I learned the basics. Not content with working behind the counter, I enrolled in the Semmelweis University of Optometry in 2001, which I successfully completed and have been examining continuously since 2004. In 2015, I obtained my Master’s degree and had the opportunity to work with students. Two of them are still working at Rapidus Optika and I am very proud of them. I am currently the shop manager at Rapidus Optika where I do testing, sales and also help to make the glasses. Although I have 25 years of experience, I still encounter very unusual and impossible requests. Our company has been providing services to individuals and businesses nationwide for over twenty years. We started out as a wholesaler of spectacle frames but now offer much more than that. Traditional opticianry is, of course, a key part of our profile, as is group vision screening for companies. We also provide our partners with custom-made dioptric safety spectacles.
