Nearsightedness, also known as myopia, is one of the most common vision problems. It is a condition in which a blurred image is formed on the retina when looking into the distance. In children, as the eye grows, it also stretches, and if this happens more than normal, myopia develops and can become more severe.

Children should spend as much time as possible outdoors and take breaks from activities that require close focus, such as reading or using a smartphone. Designed to slow the progression of myopia, the range is specifically designed to help children aged 6 to 12 years. Two different versions are available. The ZEISS MyoCare is designed for children under 10 years of age and the ZEISS MyoCare S for children over 10 years of age. In each of these models, the so-called C.A.R.E.® technology is responsible for slowing down the elongation of the ocular axis, which is achieved by alternating treatment and correction zones on the front surface of the lens.
